The original buckle is made of gold plated bronze. It was found at Graabroedre Cemetery in Roskilde town and dates back to around the year 1000.
To mark the 1000 year anniversary of Roskilde in 1998 we have made a copy of the buckle in sterling silver - oxidized or gold plated. Available as buckle, brooch, or pendant.
